This is our fish Dostoyevsky who has been living on the red counter for some time now. Vet in training Jackie says that fish shouldn't be close to a window. I disagree. For one I don't understand how anything could dislike a little window light. And for two I don't think that vets know that much about fish. Sorry Jacks! Either way he's been thriving there for the past 5 months.

  1. I agree with you, what could be so bad about natural light?

  2. Hey Jane,
Actually one reason not to have your fish near a window is that the tank can change temperature over the day if exposed to sunlight. But our window gets very little sunlight so it seems to be ok,

  3. And what about Pigeons?? Does he not want to dip his paw in for a tasty treat?? Great photos by the way - I love the top one with the repetition of colour... Annie.
